I’m giving you this information for new Binance users—it will help you.
There are more than 200 registered coins or stablecoins.
, but 99% of them are trash that nobody uses.

Only 6–7 matter:

*The ones that actually matter and have real money:*

1. *USDT (Tether)* - $170 billion. The queen. The one everyone uses on Binance. 70% of the market.
2. *USDC (Circle)* - $60 billion. The second. More legitimate in the USA; Coinbase and big companies use it.
3. *DAI* - Decentralized, backed by crypto—not by dollars sitting in a bank.
4. *FDUSD* - The one Binance is pushing right now.
5. *PYUSD* - The one from PayPal.
6. *USDe (Ethena)* - The new one that’s in fashion; it pays you yield.

All the others are attempts to copy.

For you, you only need 2:
- *USDT* to trade on Binance.
- *USDC* if one day you want to withdraw to a US bank more easily.

Don’t look at the other 190. A lot of them end up losing the $1 and going to zero, like UST from Luna did—leaving many people with nothing.
