Bitget’s platform has regained the ability to withdraw $BTC after a security breach that cost it around $388 million, the first sign that services began to return gradually to normal.
According to the announced plan, Bitcoin withdrawals have become available again, while other services such as $ETH and USDT, along with some additional services, are expected to return gradually by October 2.
This means that users who were waiting for withdrawals to be restored may get priority for Bitcoin, while the remaining assets remain tied to an unfinished timeline.
Until now, there are no complete details about whether all functions will be restored on the scheduled date, or whether any additional restrictions on withdrawals will be imposed after the restart. Therefore, the picture remains partly uncertain.
Most importantly, the return of $BTC gives the market an initial signal that the platform is moving toward resuming activity, but completing the return of $ETH and the rest of the services will be the real test.
