Vulnerability fixes, rectification implemented, and withdrawals must pass independent verification—this time, Bitget has put the words “controlled” on the table.

In a BlockBeats report on September 28, Bitget’s Chinese-market负责人 Xie Jianyin stated in a live broadcast titled “Bitget Incident Recap” that Bitget has completed comprehensive fixes for vulnerabilities related to this security incident and implemented four rectification measures: isolating the affected systems, resetting internal credentials and tightening high-risk and sensitive permissions, notifying third-party security vendors to coordinate on the fixes, and ensuring that all future withdrawals must undergo independent verification. According to his statement, no further unauthorized transfers have been found, and all affected systems have been isolated.

In terms of facts, the incident has entered the remediation and validation phase. From an observation standpoint, on one side users’ emotions may be soothed by “an extra verification step before withdrawals,” while on the other, rebuilding security reputation still depends on continuing to deliver on later details. Are you more concerned with whether “withdrawals will be restored smoothly,” or whether “there will be new audit disclosures afterward”?
