Just finished scraping Binance spot data, and today’s market is really brave in how it’s falling. PYR straight-up collapsed—$PYR $$PYR down 57%. Current price is two cents, with trading volume of 750k USDT. Brothers who move slowly tonight can only sleep on an overpass.
WTC is down 56%, PHB down 54%, and ACA is even crazier—down 51% to only two cents. VIC is also sliding. The whole altcoin board looks like a coordinated group jump off a building.
Back to the main point: when money gets pulled from the Bitcoin ETF side, the altcoins suffer. Institutional funds come out of the ETF, first dumping BTC, and then riding the liquidity down to kill the smaller caps—small-cap coins are the last stop. The rule is simple: after three days of net outflows from the ETF, altcoins will almost certainly bleed. Historical backtests are pretty much in line.
Gold is flat at $2360, crude oil at 82. Nasdaq is up slightly by 0.3%. Everyone’s rushing into safe havens and blue chips—who cares if your alts live or die. Tonight at the barbecue stall we’ll talk about this; I’m also genuinely sorry for PYR’s brothers.
