With Norwegian pipelines undergoing maintenance and Asia抢shipping cargo, EU inventories are only at 70%. The first bill for winter has already been issued.

On the other side, Asia-Pacific is turning in its homework. South Korea’s KOSPI falls 2.4%, Hong Kong stocks rebound by more than 150 points, Turkey’s 5-year CDS rises to 250 basis points—its highest since May—and nobody wants to take over the accounts of emerging markets.

In crypto, BTC at 83,054 is “playing dead” down 1.9%. On the altcoin side, Harmony’s ONE silently surges 24%. Contract open interest rises 18% in a single day, but active buy-sell volume slips from 0.9 to 0.85—there are buyers who push the price up, but more people are handing over their chips.

On commodities, gold (4162) drops another 2.9% overnight, silver (61.17) falls 4.7%, and Brent crude (99.24) clings to the “just under $100” level in sleep mode. Gold still hedges in risk-off debt; gas is quoting for inflation; and oil is waiting for the clock at Hormuz.
