🔥 Bitwise’s $NEAR.ETF has taken another big step forward:
registration has officially taken effect, and NYSE Arca has also approved its application to list its shares, with the ticker code NRR.
This product isn’t just about holding $NEAR ; its secondary goal also includes staking.
In other words, in the future, investors in traditional markets may not need to set up their own wallets, buy crypto, or handle the staking process themselves. They could potentially gain price exposure to NEAR through a conventional brokerage account, while also indirectly accessing staking rewards.
The BTC ETF opened the door for “traditional capital to buy Bitcoin”;
ETH took a step forward;
now even a PoS chain like NEAR is starting to package token exposure + staking into traditional financial products.
Of course, I won’t automatically interpret the launch of an ETF as “institutions will come in and start pumping it” right away.
💡 Having an entry point ≠ necessarily seeing a capital inflow. (Pay attention to this)
Next, we need to observe after NRR officially starts trading:
is there actually any real money coming in?
If capital inflows keep increasing, and NEAR’s price structure can still stay strong, that would be a more meaningful signal.
The news opens the door first—but whether people actually walk in will ultimately depend on the data and price action.
Do you think these alt-coin ETFs with staking could become the next wave of trend? 👀
