Bitcoin for beginners

🟠 Bitcoin in 5 minutes: what a beginner needs to know

$BTC is not just a digital coin.

Bitcoin was created as a decentralized system for transferring value without the need for a central intermediary.

Key features:

🔸 limited supply — maximum of 21 million BTC;

🔸 runs on the blockchain;

🔸 transactions are recorded in a distributed ledger;

🔸 the network is secured by a Proof-of-Work mechanism;

🔸 no one can simply “print” additional BTC whenever they want.

But there’s an important point.

A limited supply does not mean guaranteed price growth.

The price of $BTC depends on demand and supply, liquidity, macroeconomics, market participants’ behavior, regulation, and many other factors.

That’s why the phrase:

“Bitcoin is capped at 21 million, so it will definitely grow”

is too oversimplified.

It’s much more useful to understand why people buy or sell Bitcoin and which factors currently affect demand.

That’s exactly what I’ll be covering here.

Have you been following $BTC for a long time, or are you just getting started?
