🔥 Hormuz is breathing again… Oil flows double despite continued tension!
The volumes of oil leaving through the Strait of Hormuz rose to around 13 million barrels per day, roughly double in less than a month, with assistance from the U.S. military for tanker crossings. However, flows are still far below pre-war levels of about 20 million barrels per day.
📉 At the same time, WTI crude fell by about 8% over the week to $92.41.
But the tension isn’t over yet, after Trump rejected Iran’s proposal to halt hostilities for 7 days and fully reopen the strait.
👀 Is the return of oil flows the start of a price drop… or just a temporary calm?
