Come take a look—$INJ is about to put an invisibility cloak on on-chain transactions, right??
On 9/24, the Injective Meridian mainnet upgrade has gone live (IIP-701 / v1.20.4). Governance support is about 99%, with an activation height around 184,394,000. It brings capabilities such as regulated token standards, compliant transfer rules, and MultiVM unified perpetuals. Right after that, on 9/25, the official confirmed that the native privacy layer CypherOS is coming: it will cover shielding transactions, confidential transactions, and private RFQs. The alpha version of the private RFQ testnet will be released first for a trial run. Note: the full architecture, cryptography details, and audit reports have not yet been published, and full functionality is scheduled for future upgrades.
Contract market: INJUSDT perpetual is at 7.85, opening at 7.80, high at 7.90, low at 7.41. Over the last 24h it’s about +0.65%. Volume is about 63.2M U, open interest about 4.368M INJ (≈34.27M U). Funding rate is about −0.0275%. Paprika market cap is about $766M, rank around 99, and roughly +2.7% over the past 7 days.
Personal take: the compliance path was just laid out, and then privacy gets dropped—this narrative seems aimed at institutional order flow. But the market action over 24h is almost not “crazy”; it looks more like the calm after realizing the news. What’s being chased is “it’s coming,” not “it’s already usable.”
