Wu Says learned that the US payment infrastructure operator The Clearing House has announced its selection of Quant to provide technical support for its On-Chain Money Initiative, building a tokenized deposits clearing and settlement network for financial institutions. Quant will be responsible for interoperability, transaction orchestration, and transaction management layers, and will connect with the existing RTP and CHIPS payment networks. The project targets use cases such as corporate treasury management, cross-border payments, and digital-asset settlement, and is expected to open to participating institutions in the first half of 2027. The Clearing House’s US payment network clears and settles more than $2 trillion in funds every day.
