Meta’s AI agents Muse pushed ChatGPT off the U.S. iOS free rankings in just five days. Meta’s stock price jumped more than 25%, and Zuckerberg’s net worth climbed to become the world’s fourth-highest.

However, by Friday’s close, Meta fell more than 3%. The previous week, those who rushed in after Muse are now feeling uncomfortable with this bearish red candlestick—it gives back a chunk of the gains from the week. On the same day, Muse was also reported to have a security vulnerability: it can only be triggered if users themselves click to allow it. Meta said it will add a more prominent warning pop-up.

This wave of AI-agent hype also lifted the chip supply chain—chip stocks such as ARM and AMD all surged more than 10% last week.
