Damn, $SOL —this institution really is willing to splurge.

On September 25, the U.S. spot Solana ETF saw a single-day net inflow of about $86.67 million; Bitwise’s BSOL alone took in about $55.73 million. For the week, the total was about $188.1 million, with total net assets of the products around $1.964 billion.

On Binance, SOLUSDT perpetual futures are around 120.78, down about 0.94% over 24h, with trading volume of about 1.491 billion USDT and open interest of about 8.45 million SOL (around $1.02 billion). Funding fee is about +0.0017%. Market cap is roughly $71.1 billion, ranking #7, with a 7-day move of about +9.8%.

Even more aggressive: Alpenglow has already started running on both testnet and devnet, aiming to cut finality confirmation time from about 12.8 seconds down to around 150 milliseconds—mainnet timing hasn’t been set yet.

I feel like this isn’t just a pure follow-the-crowd pump. The ETF is real money, and the bottom-layer speed-up narrative is stacking on top of it. Even short-term volatility can’t stop institutions from grabbing seats.
