According to The Defiant, Morpho’s official X account recently published and then deleted a post about Curator’s business model. The post claimed that most Curator business lines cannot sustain themselves using only Vault fees, and that some revenue depends on off-chain revenue sharing, custom packaging, or protocol subsidies. It also gave examples: one retail integration was reportedly subsidized by protocol to reach a target return rate of 7%, and another distribution arrangement allocated the relevant revenue according to an 80/15/5 split. Aave founder Stani Kulechov said the post was “extremely bearish” for MORPHO holders. Morpho CEO Paul Frambot later said the content was automatically posted by a third-party AI marketing tool; the team has deleted the post and revoked its account permissions, and is still investigating the cause. He did not confirm whether the specific data in the post was accurate.
