The market looks okay at first glance. BTC is 84,171, up 0.52%; ETH is 2,687.
Among 725 USDT perpetuals, 430 are rising—accounting for 59.3%. Most people can breathe a little today. But I have to pour cold water: BTC open interest is 7.921 billion, and over the last 24 hours it has fallen by 0.69%. The funding rate is +0.00267%. Money doesn’t really look like it’s flowing in—more like existing positions are being shifted.
What you really need to watch out for is the extreme funding rates. LSK’s funding rate is -0.31326%, 2Z is -0.34732%. With shorts squeezed like this, prices are still rising—this kind of “scissor spread” is the easiest to hurt people. The most crowded side is the US funding rate at +0.03559%, up 26.03%. Those who chase at higher prices—please weigh it for yourselves.
From how I see it, when sentiment is leaning to one side, don’t run overly heavy leveraged positions.
What’s your position over there—more long or more short?

The above is my market notes and personal views. It does not constitute any trading advice, nor does it promise any returns. Contracts involve leverage—judge for yourself; you are responsible for your own profits and losses.
