Nasdaq and BTC—today’s linkage has some substance.

Don’t use last week’s rate-cut story to explain today’s market.

These macro figures are the current print, not a memory:

Nasdaq 27,069 (5D +2.06%, Yahoo)
VIX 14.87 (5D +0.00%)
US 10Y 5.18% (5D +4.45%)

So: VIX at 14.87 means volatility is being suppressed. At this level, US stocks tend to grind higher slowly. In crypto, don’t use US stock price gains to lever up. Once VIX pops, futures contracts will go first.

Crypto: BTC 84092 (+0.02%), funding rate 0.0008% (8h, Binance U-margined). ETH 24h -0.33%—weaker than BTC +0.02%. FX rate 0.03192. The funds are shrinking toward BTC; altcoins on the right side should watch first.

VIX is 14.87 now. If it breaks above 18, I’ll cut my contract positions in half. I’m not going to argue with the US stock closing price.

My position: on standby. The price hasn’t picked a side, and I haven’t paid for leverage—opening now is like doing work for the exchange.

Personal view—numbers come from the source in the main text. Not a trading instruction.
