Just now I saw what happened with Bitget, and a line suddenly popped into my head:
Stay SAFU.
At this moment today, this sentence suddenly feels especially meaningful.
On September 24, Bitget disclosed that some hot wallets had unauthorized asset transfers, initially estimated at about $350 million; the affected asset size was later updated to about $387.5 million.

Luckily, Bitget stated that users’ account balances are unaffected, and its Protection Fund will cover the platform-level losses from this incident.
And CZ’s response to this matter ultimately left just four words:
Stay SAFU! 🙏🏻

Suddenly felt—
This word is really so interesting.
Many old players should know the story of SAFU.
In 2018, during a Binance unplanned maintenance, CZ said to reassure users:
“Funds are safe.”
Later, a Crypto Meme creator called Bizonacci just turned it into a joke:
Funds Are Safu.
Safe → Safu.
A misspelled word—yet it became popular in the Crypto community.
Later, Binance simply took the trend and officially defined SAFU as:
Secure Asset Fund for Users
A Meme,
In the end, it really became a user asset protection fund.
So now when we look at SAFU again,
Suddenly it feels like it’s not just a meme anymore.
Bybit.
Bitget.
And also the security incidents that have happened again and again over the years.
Every time it reminds us:
Crypto can make you rich overnight,
it can also make you lose everything overnight.
The market doesn’t have to be predicted.
Price up and down can be waited for slowly.
But there’s one thing we must never forget:
First SAFU, then you can keep playing the Game.
So today we’re not saying GM.
and we won’t say WAGMI either.
So we’ll just say the most plain and simple thing:
STAY SAFU 🫡
If you get this meme,
Leave a 🫡.
So more people can know:
Funds are SAFU.
Stay SAFU.
