The issue I’m trying to understand with Espresso isn’t transaction speed, but rather who decides the ordering in the first place. Many Rollup networks rely on a single Sequencer, and here Espresso is trying to build a shared layer for ordering and settlement that allows multiple networks to depend on a more decentralized infrastructure. And as ESP trades around $0.10598, up 9.21%, I find that the project’s importance will become clearer as the number of networks that need this kind of coordination grows. For me, this isn’t an architecture that the average user will notice, but it’s one of those layers that could become very important precisely because it operates in the background.
