$QNT There’s something interesting here.

The price has quietly crept up by less than 1 point. It doesn’t look like much, but the 15m trading volume directly surged to 6.6 times the average. OI rose by 8% in one hour, and $1.47M in notional entered the market. This isn’t the kind of volume a retail trader casually taps twice.

The key is the structure—price rising + OI rising. New leveraged longs are entering, not some fake breakout driven by short-covering and then fading. The active buy order share is also tilted toward the buyers; the buy/sell ratio is 1.17. Funding rates are still sitting at relatively high levels recently.

The abnormal percentile is 89.5%. It’s been continuing through several consecutive intervals, and the trading value is clearly higher than usual. In plain terms, someone is steadily adding leverage to go long at this level, and it’s not just a one-off move across one or two candles.

For this pattern, I generally keep a close watch on the boundaries of the price range. When volume tops out at the boundary, either it breaks through and accelerates immediately, or it lures longs before reversing and harvesting. With OI stacked this high, volatility can amplify at any time.
