I don’t get it—after the $HYPE market board only shook by about +1.2%, on-chain the funds quietly started withdrawing from exchanges.
Lookonchain spotted that: a new address 0xbe51 withdrew about 428,600 HYPE (roughly $39.23 million) from multiple exchanges within about 8 hours; meanwhile, another whale withdrew about 28,000 HYPE (≈$2.57 million) from HTX into a multisig. Going even further back, just two days ago, the wallet associated with Hyperliquid Strategies also swept about 494,200 HYPE (≈$45.80 million).
The Binance HYPEUSDT perpetual is trading around 92.30, opened around 91.17, high around 92.81, low around 90.86. In the past 24h: about +1.24%. Volume is about 316 million U, open interest about 383 million U, funding about -0.0038%. Market cap is about $30.87 billion, ranking around #9.
On 9/24, Binance just launched spot and even added a Seed Tag. But after the spot narrative actually played out, large withdrawals became even more frequent—I feel this isn’t a sentiment-driven move; it’s the chips changing pockets. A price that doesn’t “explode” doesn’t mean everything’s fine—don’t just look at the up/down percentage for short-term trading.
