$KMNO This order book setup is kind of interesting.

On the 15m timeframe, it rose 1.33%, which isn’t outrageous, but in the span of one hour the OI (open interest) increased by +3.47%, with nominal volume of 426K entering. Then on 15m it continued with another +1.67%. This isn’t just a casual short-term push. Price is rising in sync with OI—classic behavior of newly added leveraged long positions crowding in.

The abnormal percentile has already reached 98%, and the entire pool ranks at #6.

Trading volume is 3.8x the norm, with the aggressive buy/sell ratio at 1.25, and aggressive trade value trailing by 11%. The bid side is actively driving in, not passively placing orders waiting to be filled. The 24h traded value is only 22.69M, and the pool isn’t very deep. With this level of OI being pushed upward across several consecutive cycles, it’s easy for price to be pushed farther than expected.

But at this point, the market is already close to its own historical extreme zone. With OI remaining abnormally elevated across several consecutive cycles and depth also confirming it—either someone has foreknowledge and is positioning ahead of time, or leverage has been stacked to a certain degree, waiting for a reverse pin to harvest.

My inclination is to watch first and not chase. I’d wait until the OI growth rate slows down, or when price and OI start to diverge, before considering an entry. In this kind of structure, getting in is easy—but whether you can get a good exit price is another story.
