Meme Market Watch: Which moves first—leading coins or small caps?

A warm-up in sentiment needs some up/down range; otherwise it’s just chatting.

First, check whether the meme leader has volume. Then see whether the small caps are brave enough to follow.

WIF 0.2456 (+4.38%), DOGE 0.0981 (+3.03%), SHIB 0.00000591 (+2.25%), PEPE 0.00000449 (+1.35%)

By comparison: BTC 83987 (24h -0.28%).

WIF’s 24h +4.38% is clearly stronger than BTC’s -0.28%. It has independent buying. But BONK is only +0.27%—the sector isn’t in resonance. Trade only the leader; don’t fantasize about chasing laggards.

BTC is still at 83987 (-0.28%). If BTC doesn’t hold above 84,659, I treat the right side of the meme move as noise.

The switch for meme is BTC: if it doesn’t get above 85,255, I won’t treat the small caps’ gains as a sector-wide move.
