This Bitget controversy was uncovered on-chain first. Monitoring platform Arkham was the first to spot something unusual: from Bitget’s official consolidation wallet, a brand-new, previously unknown wallet address quietly moved a large sum—roughly between 180 million and 190 million.
The most anomalous move of all—especially telling in what it reveals: on the Arbitrum chain, someone swapped 19.67 million USDT for 7,111 ETH in just six minutes. Even more bizarre, the execution price was 5% higher than the market’s normal price.
