IBM announced a September 24 beta connection between Digital Asset Haven and SWIFT's shared ledger for tokenized deposits in an effort involving 17 banks. According to NS3.AI, an ISO 20022 Messaging Adapter will let participating institutions instruct ledger transactions through standard payment messages.

IBM also announced a separate on-premises beta that keeps Haven and key management inside client data centers without a public-cloud dependency.
