It’s the weekend; the price is still hovering around 84k, near $BTC . The data from Cryptopolitan yesterday was quite interesting: both whales and retail users are stockpiling, and the amount flowing out of exchanges and the amount transferred to self-custody have risen to the highest tier since 2023. Binance’s reserves are also trending downward.

My own view is that spot markets here are quietly reducing supply, but the price chart still can’t really move. From 59,000 up to the recent 87,000, I haven’t seen any obvious signs of dispersed selling on-chain. Now the selling pressure on the chart mostly comes from the derivatives side.

So this weekend I probably won’t chase the price up or down. First, let’s see whether 83.6k can hold. If it stays above that level, we can talk about moving upward; if it breaks, that won’t be surprising either—after all, liquidity on Saturday is thin to begin with.
