【There’s a signal on-chain that made me take a second look】

Yesterday on the SUI chain there was a large transfer—not the usual kind. Address A sent a big amount to address B, and immediately after, address B split it into three transfers to another cold wallet.

This tactic—I've seen it before, back in 2017, and again in 2021.

What does it mean? Someone is quietly building a position, but doesn’t want others to know.

Right now, the SUI price is $ 1.16. It’s only a hair’s breadth away from that key support at 0.98. If it drops there, in terms of sentiment it’s basically an extreme fear zone—fear so intense that nobody dares to speak.

Historically, most people who entered the extreme fear range later made money. The premise is that you can hold.

SUI has fallen 78% from its high— is that drop big enough? Yes, it’s big. But the issue isn’t there. The real question is—has the project’s fundamentals gone bad? If the drawdown is only driven by the overall market, it will eventually come back. But if the project itself has problems, then no matter how far it falls, you can’t just blindly buy in.

Whether the business logic can actually run is not something I can guarantee. But one thing I do believe: the Move-based chain story isn’t finished yet, and among them, SUI is the steadiest.

As for whether I would bottom-fish in the extreme fear zone—honestly, my hands are itching. But the old wounds from 2021 are still there. I can’t go all-in; at most, I’ll try in batches—and my position size absolutely won’t exceed the portion I can accept losing to zero.

How are you feeling right now? In this wave, do you dare to take the deal?
