🚨 Wall Street keeps pouring money into Bitcoin… and shorts are betting it will fall 👀
The ETFs have been buying for six days; in derivatives, someone is betting that the rebound won’t hold.
▪️ Bitcoin (~83,900): it dipped to around 83,200 and recovered the 84K area. On Hyperliquid, the money staked in BTC contracts is over 3,000M: when that grows and price doesn’t break out, it usually brings more shorts. In six sessions, spot ETFs added about 2,800M; their average cost is already in profit (~81,700). Clear clash: institutional flow versus downside bets.
▪️ Ethereum (~2,686): ETH ETFs have added for five straight days (~746M total). BlackRock leads. Price is once again eyeing 2,800, a zone that failed earlier in the week. If it holds near 2,670 with that flow, the 2,800 ceiling comes back onto the map.
▪️ FET (~0.240): it remains at three-month highs. In spot trading, buying outpaced selling and more tokens exited exchanges than entered: less sell-ready supply. If it holds ~0.23, the next ceiling is around 0.25.
▪️ HYPE (~91.7): spot HYPE ETFs added ~4.8M at the close on Thursday. A treasury tied to Hyperliquid Strategies has already accumulated ~35.1M of HYPE (~3,200M). It consolidates below the recent high near 98; the market is debating whether it reaches 100 before the end of the month.
▪️ AVAX (~10.5): the New York Stock Exchange has been testing Avalanche for stocks and tokenized ETFs for 24 hours for nearly a year. It hasn’t chosen a chain yet. It’s defending $10 after Helicon and digesting the weekly jump.
Funds buying spot; derivatives betting on the correction.
So who wins this fight… the ETFs or the shorts? 👇
