₿ BTC: PRICE — THIS IS A CONSEQUENCE
When BTC goes up or down, the usual question is:
“What's the next price?”
But price is a scoreboard.
It shows the result, not the cause.
Better to ask:
Who creates demand?
Where does the money come from?
Who is selling?
What about liquidity?
What happens to leverage?
FACT —> price changes.
MECHANISM —> the balance of demand, supply, and liquidity shifts.
HYPOTHESIS —> the scenario becomes clearer.
Example:
If spot ETF inflows increase, available liquidity expands, and miner and long-term holder selling doesn’t offset this demand —> the upward move has more fundamental support.
If the move forms mainly through perp leverage without confirmation from spot demand —> the risk of a sharp pullback is higher.
What to do right now?
Open the BTC chart → check ETF flows → look at open interest and funding → compare them with spot volumes.
And only then build your own hypothesis.
