Accel Partner Matt Weigand said the AI boom is the biggest technology cycle Silicon Valley has seen, according to Bloomberg.

He also said open-source AI can grow alongside frontier labs such as Anthropic and OpenAI, and that trust and safety are becoming key factors in Accel's decisions on which AI founders to back.
