Just took a look at the data—there’s something to it.
First, $QI : in 15 minutes it’s up nearly 150%, with volume at 26 million. This isn’t some small move. I went through it and didn’t see any real positive catalysts—team announcements were basically empty. So my base conclusion is that it’s a market-maker/whales pump. This kind of “no-volume” surge is the most dangerous—once the market-maker is done pumping, they unload, leaving a bunch of retail traders holding the bag. I won’t chase; I’d rather miss than catch a falling knife.
Over on NFP, things were even more intense—it dumped 65% straight down, with volume only 3.8 million. What does that tell us? The main force doing the dumping didn’t plan to exit slowly at all—they’re just dumping. The price got cut directly from the high down to the ankle.
I’m wondering if there’s some news I haven’t seen. Otherwise, this kind of drop doesn’t look like a normal pullback. I asked around in the group—someone mentioned the project team might have major moves, but nobody could confirm.
Conclusion: for both of these, I’ll just watch and do nothing. Coins that pump hard without fundamental support are pure gambling; coins that crash hard—reaching for them before any stop-the-bleed signal is basically handing over money.
$BTC still couldn’t hold today. Funding is still positive—don’t get too excited, shorts. From this level, it can rebound at any time.
What do you think—will QI’s no-volume surge have any momentum/inertia tomorrow?
