September 27: the day for those who don’t stay still.

World Tourism Day has existed since 1979 and celebrates a simple idea: traveling transforms the traveler. And it literally moves the world.

A few numbers to add more context:

  • France is the most visited country on the planet, with around 100 million international visitors per year.

  • The Louvre, in Paris, is the most visited museum in the world: approximately 8.7 million visitors per year.

  • International tourism added up to more than 1.52 billion trips in just 2025.

And Latin America? Here, tourism isn’t just statistics. It’s color, flavor, accents, and an absurd amount of great stuff packed into just a few hours of flight.

The year is ending — and that’s when you plan the trip

December arrives faster than we think, and the best trips are the ones you start planning before the flight price even doubles.

But instead of making yet another generic list of “can’t-miss destinations,” we did it differently: we asked the crypto community from five different countries for the tips they’d give a friend who’s visiting them. Not the attraction with a two-hour line, but the restaurant where they really eat, the neighborhood where they actually walk around, and the place only locals know.

And the money?

That’s the part nobody likes much, but the Binance Card solves without complications.

With it, you pay directly using your crypto balance, anywhere that accepts the card flag — without exchanging money before you board, without carrying cash around, and with up to 3% cashback.

Your cryptocurrency leaves the screen and turns into dinner, museum tickets, and even a taxi ride.

🇦🇷 Argentina — by Max Irazoqui (@Dinerofacil_ok)

Where he lives: Pilar, Buenos Aires

  • 🍽 Where to eat: no one leaves Argentina without a good asado. His stop is Parrilla El Descanso. And to share with friends: the stuffed fugazzetta with ham and cheese from Gran Napoli

  • ☕ Best breakfast: Frik's — strong coffee and delicious medialunas. (And no, it's not croissant 😂)

  • 🏛 What to see: The Museo de Ciencias Naturales de La Plata is a few hours away, but the trip is worth it

  • 💎 Local secret: at the Reserva Natural de Pilar, there are group night hikes on full-moon nights once a month, ending around a campfire

  • 🍹 Where to grab a drink: El Galpón de Monster FX — you eat and drink inside a theater piece

  • ❌ The classic mistake: thinking everything is nearby. Here you need a car: it looks like everything is next to you, but every place worth going is kilometers away

  • 💬 The word: "Che" — Argentina’s wildcard. Use it to call someone, to say "hey", and to express surprise or irritation too

🇧🇷 Brazil — by Gustavo "Nenesk" (@gustavonenesk)

Where he lives: Brasília, DF

  • 🍽 Where to eat: the bandeja paisa, no doubt — at Hatoviejo Palmas, traditional Antioquian cuisine. His go-to for bringing friends is Los Chamos, in Laureles, for burgers, empanadas, or a great Venezuelan pepito

  • ☕ Best breakfast: if you pass through Pirenópolis, the brunch at Santuário Vagafogo — 99% of the ingredients are produced right there, with a delicious trail you can do afterward

  • 🏛 What to see: The Memorial JK is surprisingly great. For culture, the city’s champion is CCBB, always with top-level exhibitions

  • 📍 The can’t-miss attraction: the Santa Bárbara Waterfall, near Cavalcante, in Chapada dos Veadeiros — according to him, the most enchanting view he’s ever seen

  • 💎 Local secret: SESI Lab, in the center of Brasília. Even locals don’t really know it well: an interactive museum that blends art, science, and technology

  • 🍹 Where to grab a drink: Pontão do Lago Sul, on the shores of Lago Paranoá, with the city lit up around it

  • ❌ The classic mistake: getting there too fast. Reserve 3 days, rent a car, and explore Chapada dos Veadeiros. And don’t stick only to the main spots — there’s Parque da Cidade, Ermida Dom Bosco, and the lakeside promenade

  • 💬 The word: "tesourinha" — the full of curves return road that exists across the entire Plano Piloto. It makes you a little dizzy, but it’s genius

🇨🇴 Colombia — by Anthony Alvarez (@thonyalvarez_)

Where he lives: Medellín

  • 🍽 Where to eat: the bandeja paisa, without a doubt — at Hatoviejo Palmas, traditional Antioquian cooking. His favorite place to take friends is Los Chamos, in Laureles, for burgers, empanadas, or a good Venezuelan pepito

  • ☕ Best breakfast: Marqués Chef, in Los Colores. It tends to get packed — it’s worth the wait

  • 🏛 What to see: El Castillo Museum, in El Poblado. Beautiful architecture, surrounded by gardens where you can have a picnic after your tour

  • 📍 The can’t-miss attraction: Piedra del Peñol, in Guatapé. Two hours from Medellín and more than 700 steps — the view from the top makes every one of them worth it

  • 💎 Local secret: SB Acuario — bowling, gastronomy, cocktails, and decor inspired by Greek mythology

  • 🍹 Where to grab a drink: Provenza, in El Poblado. Restaurants, bars, and clubs: Medellín’s nightlife happens right there

  • ❌ The classic mistake: "dar papaya" — walking around showing off jewelry, an expensive phone, or money. Enjoy your day calmly and use ride-share transportation, especially at night

  • 💬 The words: "parce" (friend, with familiarity) and "¡qué chimba!" (when something is incredible — from a meal to a place)

🇵🇪 Peru — by Luis Almonte (@GeneraTuSueldoOficial)

Where he lives: Lima and Arequipa

  • 🍽 Where to eat: Panchita’s crispy pork belly — "something crazy". And his favorite: La Preferida, a seafood parrilla for anticuchos

  • ☕ Best breakfast: an Arequipeño adobo, ideally on a very early Sunday, in Cayma or Yanahuara

  • 🏛 What to see: Monastery of Santa Catalina, in Arequipa

  • 📍 The can’t-miss attraction: the Circuito Mágico del Agua in Lima, at night. It’s touristy, sure — but the light, water, and music show is absolutely worth it

  • 💎 Local secret: go to Yanahuara, in Arequipa, late afternoon, eat a frozen queso, and watch the Misti volcano through the traditional arches. Simple and deeply Arequipeño

  • 🍹 Where to grab a drink: La Casa de la Salsa, in Lima — live orchestras and a great salsa night

  • ❌ The classic mistake: planning your Lima itinerary by looking only at the distance on the map. Traffic turns a short trip into a long journey. Always leave extra time between plans

  • 💬 The expression: "¡Habla, causa!" — the most Peruvian and casual way to greet a friend

🇲🇽 Mexico — by Martin Meléndez (@melendez.mx)

Where he lives: Nuevo León (Monterrey)

  • 🍽 Where to eat: Jonuco’s roasted goat with arroz de boda — once you try it, you fall in love. And to get out of the obvious: El Guaya’s Fat Bastard

  • ☕ Best breakfast: Casa Benell’s “pan de muerto” or the eggs from Café Laurel. City gems

  • 🏛 What to see: MARCO — Museum of Contemporary Art, next to the cathedral. An icon of Nuevo León

  • 📍 The can’t-miss attraction: Parque Fundidora is a must

  • 💎 Local secret: climb Chipinque or Cerro de la Silla and see the whole city from up there 🤫

  • 🍹 Where to grab a drink: Café Drama is the sensation — that’s where you’ll find the Monterrey crowd

  • ❌ The classic mistake: thinking Parque Fundidora is the big attraction. It’s beautiful and you should go — but you don’t need more than 4 hours. There’s plenty of city left to explore

  • 💬 The words: air conditioner is “clima,” beer is “cheve,” and among friends everyone is “compadre”

  • 🎁 Bonus: if you get a chance to go to a soccer game in the city, don’t waste it

Latin America has no borders for anyone who wants to explore

Five countries, five itineraries — and the feeling that we haven’t even started. There’s mountains, waterfalls, desert, a volcano, the Pacific and the Atlantic. There’s food that changes from neighborhood to neighborhood, words that only exist in one place in the world, and people who open the door and turn tourists into friends.

What shouldn’t get in the way is the bureaucratic part. That’s exactly what the Binance Card is for: you cross borders, change currencies, change time zones — and keep paying the same way, with your crypto balance, with up to 3% cashback.

Pick the destination and we’ll handle the rest.
