The traps before takeoff are often more worth the gamble than a breach. $BTC on the four-hour frame saw many attempts in the period of heavy trading during the early stage, but trade volumes gradually taper off step by step. This kind of structure that pushes upward with shrinking liquidity is something I’ve seen a lot—not a surge, but a subtle transfer among traders.
The upper pressure band still can’t hold effectively. Each time the price rebounds to form a higher high, the peak forms at a lower level, indicating that active buyers are not showing up. The moving averages system has started to flatten and turning indicators have appeared. The slow/fast MACD lines are clinging below the zero axis, while the momentum histogram continues to contract. This market language suggests that the rebound is running out of steam—not that a trend reversal is occurring.
Therefore, in this round I choose to stand on the short side and wait until the rebound reaches the resistance zone to enter, without chasing the downside. As long as the structure has not broken, the logic of a short trade remains valid.
