WuShuo learned that CoinMarketCap has announced the completion of its acquisition of the crypto derivatives data platform Coinglass, with the transaction amount undisclosed. After the acquisition, CoinMarketCap will incorporate derivatives data provided by Coinglass—such as open interest, funding rates, liquidations, and options—into its market data ecosystem. The official statement says that CoinMarketCap has about 115 million monthly users, while Coinglass covers 28 exchanges and more than 2,500 trading instruments, with monthly users exceeding 5 million, and more than 10,000 API customers. Coinglass will continue operating as an independent business under the original brand. Its website, app, free tools, API, and pricing currently remain unchanged.
