Meme market: who moves first, the leader or the small coins?

If the leader doesn’t put out volume, I won’t listen to any story from the small coins.

For memes, first check whether the leader has volume; then see whether the small coins dare to follow.

PEPE 0.00000458 (+7.01%), BONK 0.00000375 (+6.53%), SHIB 0.00000594 (+6.07%), DOGE 0.0982 (+5.97%)

Comparison: BTC 84602 (24h +1.38%).

PEPE up 7.01% in 24h is clearly stronger than BTC up 1.38%; there is an independent buy order. But WIF is only up 4.46%—the sector isn’t syncing. I only trade the leader, not fantasies of “playing catch-up.”

BTC is still at 84602 (+1.38%). If BTC can’t break above 85,279, I treat the right-side meme moves as noise.

If the gap between the leader and the weakest one narrows to within 2 percentage points, and the independent buy order disappears, I’ll clear the position.
