#比特币现货etf净流入1.91亿美元
This data is actually a bit strange.. In the same week, U.S. Treasury yields surged to a 19-year high, the market was pricing in an October rate hike, and another exchange was hacked and lost more than 300 million.. In theory, this is the kind of time when prices should be rising—yet the one thing that should rise is «insurance».. The options for BlackRock’s Bitcoin spot ETF, which price future volatility, have instead fallen to their lowest level in a year..

Most people see that Bitcoin touched 87,000 then retreated to 84,000—there doesn’t seem to be much to discuss from the chart.. What’s really worth watching are two numbers: implied volatility is 37.4, and realized volatility is 45.5.. Translated: the market believes the turbulence of the past twenty trading days is over, and that things will be quiet going forward..

This is where it gets interesting.. Selling volatility is never about the price—it’s about charging for the «unknown».. When everyone thinks nothing’s wrong, this insurance is the cheapest and the least people buy it.. And the rent collected from selling that insurance is exactly the most comfortable trade of the year—no need to guess direction, just collect time..

What’s even more interesting is that the market itself has already drawn the boundaries.. 87,000 above is the level where it gets stuck on September 21st, and 76,700 below is the support it recognizes.. A calm price with two clear boundaries isn’t a lack of viewpoints—it means the viewpoints have already converged: trade back and forth within the range, don’t stray..

But the problem is.. A calm price and true calm are two different things.. Once realized volatility runs above implied volatility for several consecutive days, it means this insurance has been sold systematically too cheaply—those who hurt first are the crowd selling volatility to collect the rent..

So in this round, what I care about more isn’t how many more points the price climbs, but how long this «quiet» can keep being sold.. Kind of interesting..
