Grayscale’s Zcash fund, ZCSH, has seen its assets under management recently surpass $1 billion, becoming the first Zcash investment product globally to break this threshold. The fund began trading in late August, and in less than a month it surged from roughly $910 million to over $1 billion.

Behind this is rising demand from institutional capital for compliant privacy-coin exposure. ZCSH directly holds $ZEC . Since the fund’s launch, the token’s price has doubled, and its asset base has been boosted by both new subscriptions and the token price increase. Net inflows are now more than three times higher.

The derivatives market is also heating up: in futures contract $ZEC , open interest has reached a new high of about $3.5 billion. Grayscale also announced that it will split ZCSH three-for-one. After the split, trading will begin at the end of this month—lowering the price per share so more participants can access it. With privacy-coin regulation being stepped up worldwide, compliant channels have become even more valuable. #Zcash
