Build an AI data dashboard for the client. The delivery focus is not on “being able to ask questions in natural language,” but on ensuring the answers can be verified and reviewed.
On September 10, OpenAI released a Data agent: it can connect to enterprise-approved data sources and Drive/SharePoint, using existing table/row/column permissions; it can also explain results using business terminology, metric definitions, calculations, and data relationships.
When taking on a job, deliver at least these three items:
1. Data permission inventory
2. Metric definitions (scope/coverage)
3. Steps to perform exception checks and verification
If any of these three are missing, it’s also hard to get acceptance even if a dashboard is generated.
