A swap quote can tell you a lot more than a token’s displayed price.
I was checking a GRAM → USD₮ swap on @ston_fi, and the quote showed:
1 GRAM ≈ 1.408997 USD₮
That got me thinking about something easy to overlook when using DEXs.
The price you see isn’t always the amount you’ll actually receive.
Liquidity, pool depth, trading activity, and available routes can all influence the final execution.
In this case, Omniston is listening for available liquidity and routing information to help determine the swap quote.
So instead of only asking:
“What’s the price of GRAM?”
I think the more useful question is:
“How much USD₮ will I actually receive for my GRAM?”
That’s the difference between simply checking a token price and paying attention to the actual swap execution.
