Bitget CEO Gracy Chen said the affected assets include ETH, XRP, BNB, AVAX, USDT, USDC, and other tokens, with XRP Ledger seeing the largest single-chain loss. The chains involved include Ethereum, XRP Ledger, Arbitrum, Avalanche, Optimism, BSC, and Base.
According to Foresight News, all on-chain cold wallets have been confirmed safe and were not affected.
The team has contacted foundations for all affected chains, and some have confirmed freezing the hacker wallet address. Bitget said it is pursuing all available channels and will continue to share updates.
Bitget said its protection fund exceeds $464 million and is stored in publicly verifiable wallet addresses, while its own assets exceed $1 billion. User funds are covered on a 1:1 basis, and all data can be verified on-chain. The company said its goal is to complete full recovery as soon as possible and will announce a specific time window once confirmed. It added that it will not promise deadlines it cannot meet.
