$QI In a single night it surged by nearly 100%. Around 0.0029, someone was directly sweeping it— the trading volume was $5.9 million. Honestly, my first reaction to a move like this is that the market makers are up to something, not something retail traders could pull off.
On the other side, the $NFP dumped straight down by 65%, down to around 0.0018. This coin previously hadn’t had much momentum. Suddenly it got smashed like this—either the team is distributing (selling), or bad news was being covered up and just got revealed.
I haven’t touched either of these coins before, but to be honest, I wouldn’t chase a pump like this with QI. When the market makers start pulling the price up, you never know when they’ll drop it again. By the time you get in, you might just be the bagholder.
If NFP is down like this and you were holding earlier, you’re probably already trapped. Cutting losses now might not mean much, but don’t rush to bottom-fish either—this kind of decline very likely has a second wave.
The whole altcoin market is basically following BTC’s rhythm. BTC hasn’t moved much, and the alts are just jumping around on their own. The funding rate is 0.47%, which is still pretty normal—suggesting the long/short battle isn’t too extreme.
So what do you think: are these kinds of altcoin anomalies opportunities, or is someone intentionally cutting people to harvest them?
