Genius co-founder Ryan Myher said the platform is a terminal for trading crypto assets and that points are an additional benefit users may receive when trading on Genius. According to PANews, he said users agree to the platform's airdrop terms when they trade on Genius, and that users who started in SZN 1 agreed twice.

Myher said users who do not accept the terms cannot use the platform. He added that points are extra benefits and that the rules can be adjusted based on actual conditions. He said terminal trading volume has recently declined, so the number of points distributed each day has also fallen.

Myher also said he wants to keep building Genius long term and added that his own tokens will not unlock before users' tokens. Earlier reports said Genius drew community criticism after changing its points rules, with the move reportedly pushing the unlock of 70 million tokens to 2028.
