⚠️ Bitget Hacked! Lost $351 Million It took one wallet six minutes to turn stolen stablecoins into ETH that no issuer could freeze. Bitget detected unauthorized transfers draining its hot and warm wallets. CEO Gracy Chen confirmed roughly $351.6 million gone, nearly double the $174-183M on-chain researchers first estimated. The attacker's opening move: swap $19.7 million of USDT0 for 7,111 ETH on Arbitrum in about six minutes, paying up to 5% above spot. Speed over price is the signature of every hack where stolen stablecoins need to become unfreezable before the issuer reacts. A second trail hit the XRP Ledger, where two Bitget-tagged wallets sent 93.7 million $XRP (~$143M) to a fresh address in the same window. Chen says cold wallets are "fully secure" and a $464M User Protection Fund covers the full loss. Both claims are self-reported and not yet independently verified. Withdrawals are frozen for every user, including the ones untouched by the exploit; that's counterparty risk made visible in real time. For context: this is possibly 2026's largest hack, arriving three weeks after Liquid Network's $320M breach, and the biggest since Bybit's $1.4B loss in February 2025. Yet $BTC moved just 0.3% and $ETH 0.2% on the news. The market isn't pricing this as systemic. It's pricing it as Bitget's problem, for now. #BTC Price Analysis# #Bitcoin Price Prediction: What is Bitcoins next move?# #CMC
