๐Ÿ›ข๏ธOIL SPIKES AGAIN: ORMUZ REMAINS AT THE CENTER OF THE CRISIS

The energy market is once again ringing alarm bells.

๐Ÿ“ˆ Oil rose by around 4% this Thursday, with Brent once again moving above US$100 per barrel, as investors continue to watch developments in the Middle East.

๐Ÿ‡ธ๐Ÿ‡ฆ Pressure increased after the Houthis launched new missile attacks against Saudi Arabia.

๐ŸŒ At the same time, nearly 80 countries asked the United Nations for the urgent reopening of the Strait of Hormuz, due to the impact that navigation restrictions are having on trade and energy security.

And the effect is already making its way to the markets:

๐Ÿ“‰ Wall Street slips back again
๐Ÿ›ข๏ธ Oil regains strength
๐Ÿšข Shipping through Hormuz remains under pressure
๐ŸŒ Markets continue to monitor the diplomatic developments between the U.S. and Iran

Whatโ€™s interesting is that just a few days ago oil was falling in anticipation of a recovery in supplies.

Now the market is turning back its attention to Hormuz, Saudi Arabia, and energy routes.

Once again, geopolitics is moving directly into the markets.
