**BlackRock** is **providing Ondo Finance with three model portfolio strategies**, going a step further from individual asset tokenization and expanding tokenization into **on-chain diversified investment products**.
Key points
Ondo launched three portfolios (high income, diversified growth, and high growth) based on the BlackRock strategy.
Each product allows investors to invest in a pre-defined portfolio with just one token, and weight adjustments and rebalancing are carried out automatically according to the program.
Temperature token ONDO (ONDO) traded at around $0.43 on September 24, and this launch expands Temperature’s tokenization lineup aimed at institutional investors.
BlackRock–Temperature portfolio structure
On September 24, Temperature said through its official X account that its first three products in the new Intelligent Portfolios series use BlackRock’s investment strategies designed exclusively for Temperature. The lineup consists of “Ondo High Income Powered by BlackRock,” “Ondo Diversified Growth Powered by BlackRock,” and “Ondo High Growth Powered by BlackRock.”
These products package portfolio exposure into a single token, so investors don’t need to hold multiple securities directly or rebalance them. According to Temperature, the underlying assets use “Ondo Stocks,” Temperature’s tokenized stock and ETF products, which are backed by actual securities sourced from traditional market liquidity.
The portfolio strategy is provided by BlackRock, while Temperature is responsible for implementing this model as an actual product and carrying out rebalancing. According to the company’s explanation, smart contracts automatically handle asset allocation, rebalancing, and the fee structure according to a predetermined schedule.
The product is designed to be accessible 24 hours a day, except in certain jurisdictions where regulations apply. The token can be used in various ways, such as transferring to other DeFi (decentralized finance) applications, or for purposes like collateral or liquidity provision. In a separate report, The Wall Street Journal said that three model portfolios developed by BlackRock are being tokenized through Temperature.

Market reaction to the ONDO token
According to Investing.com data, the ONDO token traded at around $0.43 on September 24, and its daily increase at the time of the report was roughly 5%. It is also a steady uptrend that has continued from about $0.37 on September 17.
This launch is significant in that it expands the scope beyond the individual tokenization of securities and fund assets, into a product that automates the design and management of the portfolio itself. It combines traditional asset allocation strategies with blockchain settlement, programmable rebalancing, and a single-portfolio token structure.
Temperature has grown primarily around tokenized U.S. Treasury exposure products such as OUSG and USDY, and more recently expanded its lineup to include tokenized stocks and ETFs.
An intelligent portfolio is assessed as a step toward including portfolio design functionality within the tokenization scope, by reconstructing these underlying assets into a single “managed basket,” beyond simply providing access to assets.
