Recently I discovered a pretty interesting pattern:
In the crypto world, the louder someone is, the faster they disappear.
Those who shout trading signals in groups every day, post luxury cars and mansions in their朋友圈, or constantly brag about how many times they’ve profited—you’ll probably find they’re already gone after half a year. Either they’ve lost everything and quit the scene, or they’ve cashed out after cutting their share of the “grass,” or they just go silent and pretend nothing happened when the market turns bad.
In contrast, people who don’t talk much on weekdays and quietly execute trades—when you look again after three to five years, they’re still there. Maybe the money in their account isn’t the most, but it grows steadily every year. When the market is good, they make a bit more; when it’s bad, they lose a bit less. And that’s how they’ve managed to keep going.
Why? Because loud people’s mindset tends to get inflated. Make a little money and think you’re unstoppable, start adding leverage and playing games, and in the end you end up playing yourself to death. Meanwhile, low-key people know the limits of their own ability—what money they should earn and what they shouldn’t touch. They understand it clearly.
Trading is different from other industries. In other fields, the more you show off, the better—you can attract customers and resources. But in trading, the more you’re loud, the closer you are to dying. Because the market settles every kind of arrogance. The more you think you’re great, the more it wants to give you a lesson.
So yeah—“make money quietly” is a true principle in the crypto world.
If you’ve made money, don’t tell everyone. Just secretly enjoy it yourself.
The more low-key you are, the easier it is for the market to let you live longer.
