Bitcoin tried to break up to 87,300 twice this week. Both times, it was smashed back down. Today was even more direct—down 3.3%, losing 83,000. From the 21st-day high of 87,401, it’s fallen 5% over five days. A week ago, it was still holding above 87,000. The bulls’ strength seems to have really run out. 📉

But the money side is a totally different story. On September 21, ETF inflows hit $999 million. That’s the strongest day this year. On the 22nd, another $715 million came in. On the 23rd, yet another $609 million. In four days, total inflows reached $2.31 billion—no day with a stop. 💰

Morgan Stanley is the most unusual one. Its bitcoin fund has been buying for three straight days. Over those three days, the net inflow was $193 million. Yesterday alone, it added another $32.4 million. That day, it was the only buyer in the entire market. For a full 20 days, it hasn’t had a single day of net outflow. 📈

These figures come from the on-chain platform Arkham. Its bitcoin holdings are approaching $776 million. The buying cadence is steady—almost every day it adds. On one side, the price gets smashed back to 83,000. On the other, institutions are taking delivery without missing a day. The spot where retail investors cut losses is exactly where the big players are adding. 🤔

The macro picture isn’t helping either. The yield on the 10-year U.S. Treasury note has climbed above 5.13%—the highest since June 2007. The 30-year yield has touched 5.35% for the first time since 2004. With such a high risk-free rate, money should be flowing into bonds. 📊

Someone has calculated the buyers’ ETF costs. The average is around $81,700. Now the price is just grinding around $83,000. It’s basically trading right along the cost line. Most people, in fact, haven’t made much money. And institutions are buying even more as it drops. 🪙

📌 When the price is falling and institutions are buying, the disagreement itself is the opportunity.

At this point, are you chasing, or waiting a little longer?
