Over these past few days, I’ve been preparing to gather $30,000 first.

I’ll use this money to study orthodontic correction for a year—basically like tuition. During this period, I won’t have a salary while learning. I did the math: if I go to work and earn money based on performance, making at least $10,000 a month, then afterwards I’d still only be a performance-driven machine. It’s not as good as learning more while I’m young. If I can get through two years, I might be able to earn $20,000–$30,000 a month.

I’m still young—I’m not yet 30. Learning is really important to me. I’ve lost more than $5 million in crypto already. This money was originally enough for me to live my whole life, but I ended up blowing it all with high-leverage “all-in” trading.

So going forward, my first goal with contracts isn’t to multiply my money by how many times, but to change my trading mindset and philosophy. High leverage and high error tolerance are too low; tolerance is too small. I plan to start on 10.1, only trading $500U at a time, and see if I can last for a month. If I do well, I can still trade up to a few thousand U. If I don’t do well, even a few tens of thousands of U will blow up.

So I want to first become a better person, and then trade. I’ll just grind through it and hope for a steady climb. Life is long!
