TRON has posted another “huge” number: the cumulative on-chain transaction settlement volume has surpassed $3 trillion.

BlockBeats, citing a TRON DAO update, reports that the total number of TRON on-chain accounts exceeds 405 million, with cumulative transaction count over 15 billion. TVL is above $28 billion. The on-chain circulating supply of USDT exceeds $94 billion, remaining the highest among all public chains. Token Terminal data shows that, since the beginning of this year, TRON’s USDT transfer volume has reached about $6 trillion, averaging roughly $25 billion per day. BlockBeats also noted that in Q2 2026, the transaction volume of crypto payment cards rose from $2.0 billion in Q1 to $2.4 billion, with TRON’s share increasing from 33% to 34%.

The market may first look to positive narratives around TRX and stablecoin payments—an emotional response. But more importantly, whether USDT liquidity, low-cost transfers, and payment use cases continue to concentrate on TRON. Looking ahead, one scenario is that on-chain settlement and transfer data keep expanding; another is that capital and activity fail to keep pace. In the latter case, milestones may feel more like interim labels. Are you more focused on the TRX “stablecoin adoption” narrative, or the TRON on-chain settlement fundamentals?
