🔴 The market is strongly leaning toward the Fed’s rate-hike scenario
According to the CME FedWatch, the probability that the Fed will continue to raise rates by another 0.25 percentage point at the end-of-October meeting has risen to 69.7%.
Just one day earlier, this figure was at 55.4%.
📊 If this scenario occurs, the Fed’s target rate would be raised from the 3.75–4.00% range to 4.00–4.25%.
Meanwhile, the likelihood of keeping rates unchanged now stands at only about 30.3%.
Of course, this is not the final decision yet. The Fed still has nearly 1 month to monitor more data, especially inflation, employment, and economic growth before the October 27–28 meeting. 🪙
Only a few days ago, the market expected the Fed could pause—but now the probability of another hike has inched close to 70%.
This will be a key variable to watch for Bitcoin, stocks, and gold in October.
