According to CNBC, a federal judge ordered White House access for journalists from CNN, MS Now and Politico to be temporarily restored, saying President Donald Trump's media ban was likely unconstitutional. District Judge Tim Kelly said the three outlets should have their access immediately restored after Trump announced the ban on Sept. 18, and ordered the administration to return, reinstate and restore the White House hard pass press credentials held by employees of the outlets. The order is set to remain in effect for 14 days. Kelly said the record lacked factual support for the administration's claim that revoking the hard passes would protect national security or that national security would be endangered if the passes were reinstated while the litigation proceeds. Trump said in a Truth Social post last week that he was banning the outlets from the White House effective immediately, warning that other "Fake News Media Outlets" could follow.
