Even if BTC pulls back to 700,000, dare to buy!
The biggest feature of a bull market is: every healthy pullback is an opportunity for sideline capital to jump back on board.
In the past two days, many brothers have private messaged me, saying they’re completely out of position and don’t know what to do. They saw my bottom-picking advice on BTC around 60,000, but at the time, because of panic—or because they wanted cheaper chips—they ultimately missed the big行情 (market move) for a full two months.
Now I’m giving you my second viewpoint: even if BTC pulls back to 700,000, you still have to buy!
First, the technical structure hasn’t been broken.
On the BTC weekly chart, there are several key supports around 82,000, 75,000, and 70,000. Even if price retraces to 700,000, as long as the crucial lows aren’t broken, the weekly reversal structure of Higher Low → Higher High still holds. A bull market doesn’t rise in a straight line every day—it keeps lifting the bottom through ongoing pullbacks and rotation.
Second, the recent crypto market fundamentals and capital feedback remain positive. Stablecoin issuance has increased, and capital is flowing back into the market. Combined with policy-level support for the crypto industry, the medium- to long-term capital logic hasn’t fundamentally changed just because there’s been a pullback over the past two days.
With all these positives, why is the market still falling?
In the short term, international conditions and the Federal Reserve’s statements about rate hikes are affecting expectations.
First, this is normal profit-taking after a continuous big rally in BTC. Second, what’s truly suppressing risk assets is the macro environment.
U.S. 10-year Treasury yields briefly surged to 5.135%, the highest level since 2007. In September, the composite PMI rose to 58.4—economic data came in too strong again, reigniting inflation and rate-hike expectations. At the same time, the 50 billion (US) 5-year Treasury auction showed weak performance, further intensifying Treasury selling.
So what really needs watching now is when Treasury yields will peak, and whether the situation in Iran will continue to push up oil prices.
But at least for now, the short-term macro negatives haven’t changed the big direction that policy and institutional capital are entering the crypto market.
